Loan

The MathBib is a reference library. Books can not be borrowed to be taken home. Members of D-MATH with an office in the main building, however, can loan books via the Self-Check for 90 days to take to their office.

Journals are excluded from loan. For copies, you may use the copier with Copycard reader in the copy room.

Register for the NEBIS-Network

To be able to use the Self-Check users have to register once at NEBIS and the account has to be activated by the library staff.
To use the Self-Check you need an ETH-Card or a NEBIS library card. The former you will receive from the secretaries the latter you can get in the MathBib.

Renewing a book

After the loan has expired, books can be renewed.

Books can only be renewed by the staff at the MathBib to see whether the book still exists and in what condition it is.

Return a book

If you want to return a book to the MathBib please place it inside the box called "Book Return" right next to the Self-Check Computer.

Reservation

The MathBib offers no reservation service. If a book is needed urgently please contact the library staff or use the loan database.
