Mission Statement

• The MathBib is an reference library. Members and guests of the D-MATH can access and borrow books from the collection around the clock.
  
• During opening hours the MathBib serves as reading room for users interested in mathematical literature. However, the workplaces are primarily for students and members of the D-MATH.
• The collection emphasizes on books and series. For this purpose, the main collections and series in pure and applied mathematics are nearly integrally available in the library.
• Journals are mostly available online via the NEBIS catalog. The printed issues are accessible in the library.
  
• The website of the MathBib informs about the current services and term of use. It also provides links to useful sources of information in the mathematical sciences on the internet.
  
• The staff of the MathBib works closely with the Bibliothekskommission and the D-MATH to adapt its services to the needs of its users.
